Far from crowded tourist-centres or roads with heavy traffic, both our site and the region offer tranquility and space. The friendly, gently sloping green landscape, with its many country lanes, is an ideal surrounding for exploration by bicycle.

The 100 acres of LES FOURNEAUX offer you a quiet and friendly atmosphere, with dense green hedges of hawthorns, large oak and ash trees, wild flowers, animals and birds.

Due to the quiet character of our camping, we have concluded that our site is not suitable for families with children. Animals, with the exception of guide-dogs for the blind, are not allowed.

Our 40 pitches are clearly defined and large, from 400 m² to 1500 m². Your car is parked near to your tent or caravan. Thanks to the gradually sloping hill, most pitches offer magnificent view over the valley. We have only two pitches suitable for camper vans (motor caravans).

The driveway of stone chippings - no problem for caravans - leads direct from the D13 to our entrance. You will find this driveway approximately 2,5 km west of Couzon at the south side of the D13, near kilometer-pole 23,0   GPS: 46,6605 N 3,0949 E  or  46º 39' 53" N  3º 05' 46"

We have no restaurant or disco, but there is a bar with cool beer and wine. Six days a week, between 8.30am and 9.30am, you can collect the fresh French bread ordered by you the previous day.

The swimming pool measures 7 x 14 m, and is 140cm deep throughout, giving you the opportunity for a real swim. Both sanitary blocks offer (free) warm and cold showers.

We are open in June, July and August.

Due to the limited number of pitches, we strongly suggest that visitors who prefer a pitch with electricity, or wish to arrive with a camper van, should check availability by phone one day prior to arrival.
